R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of a vacuum
type street sweeper for use in the Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Dallas Brush Mfg. Co. submitted a bid in the amount
of Thirty -Three Thousand Nine Hundred Forty -Two and No/100 ($33,942.00)
Dollars for the vacuum type street sweeper for use in the Street De-
partment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Dallas Brush Mfg. Co. is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,:
THAT the bid of Dallas Brush Mfg. Co. in the amount of $33,942.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said vacuum type street
sweeper upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1974.
