WHEREAS, bids were received for brass fittings for use in
the Water Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, Standard Brass Mfg. Co, submitted a bid in the amount
of One Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety -Seven and 64/100 ($13,997.64) Dol-
lars for the brass fittings for the Water Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Standard Brass Mfg. Co, is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Standard Brass Mfg. Co. in the amount of $1,997.64 .
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said brass .fittings upon ac-
ceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
