WHEREAS, _the City of Beaumont aind Gulf Coast'.Industrial Con-
tractor.s, Inc. executed..a certain contract. on January 17,:1974 for
the construction 6f.East Lavaca CIP.Project No. 11 -ST -06, at a total
contract price.of Three Hundred Sixty.-Six..Thousand.Nine Hundred
Ninety -Five and No/100-($366,995.'00) Dollars; and,
-WHEREAS, the City's Consulting,Engineer has inspected the
work and recommends.its acceptahce`in final payment to the,cont.ractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE'A T RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY OF,BEAUMONT:
THAT the'City of Beaumont hereby'acceptes.the completion of the afore-
said contract in all particulars and further 'authorizes final -payment
of Forty-.Seven,Thousand Six Hundre.d,Sixty=Two and 25/100 ($47,662.25) .
Dollars.to-the .contractor in accordance with said contract and changes.,
