WHEREAS, Amoco Production Company, a corporation of Houston,
Texas, is tendering to the City a right of way of eighty (801) feet
in width and 10.756 acres in area in the Hezekiah Williams Survey,
Abstract 56, Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, said right of way is needed for the extension of
Deleware Street from Thomas Road to Dowlen Road; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said right
of way should be accepted by the City pursuant to the terms and condi-
tions in the proposed conveyance from Amoco Production Company to the
City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to accept on behalf of the City of Beaumont the right of way for the
extension of Deleware Street to be donated to the City of Beaumont by
Amoco Production Company.
