WHEREAS,.the City of Beaumont and Bayshore Constructors, Inc.
entered into a certain agreement dated September 21, 1973, to furnish
all labor, superintendence, material and equipment to perform all work
necessary for the construction of CIP Project No. 11 -SU -01, which is
the Florida Avenue Interceptor Program; and,
WHEREAS, a supplementary -agreement, Change Order Number 2, has
been proposed, under which said supplementary agreement certain changes
will be made in the plans and specifications which involve a decrease -
in the contract amount from $920,510.00 to $915,871.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described supplemental agree-
ment to the original contract; and, that the City Clerk is hereby autho-
rized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont
thereto.
