R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission has
submitted to its membership two proposed Bylaws Amendments; and,
WHEREAS, Proposed Change No. 1 amends Article IV, Section 2(a)
of said Bylaws; and,
WHEREAS, Proposed Change No. 2 amends Article IX, Section 3•of
said Bylaws; and,
WHEREAS, in order for said Bylaws Amendments to be adopted, the
amendments must be approved by 2/3 of the governing bodies which are
members of the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVLED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont does hereby approve Proposed Change No. 1,
amending Article IV, Section 2(a) of the Bylaws of the South East
Texas Regional Planning Commission, and Proposed Change No. 2 amend-
ing Article IX, Section 3 of the Bylaws of the South East Texas Re-
gional Planning Commission;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby
directed to notify the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission
of the approval of the City of Beaumont of the amendments to the By-
laws.
