WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Sabine Consolidated, Inc.
entered into a certain agreement on February 12, 1974 to furnish all
labor, superintendence, material and equipment to perform all work
necessary for the construction of CIP Project 13-WU-06, which is the
Washington, Calder & Dowlen Water Lines Project; and,
WHEREAS, a supplementary agreement, Change Order Number 1, has
been proposed, under which the result will be an addition of $3,420.00
to the City of Beaumont, bringing the total contract amount to
$285,437.00, which aforementioned amount is available within the con-
struction budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described supplemental agree-
ment to the original contract; and that the City Clerk is hereby autho-
rized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont
thereto; and that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized
to pay to Sabine Consolidated, Inc. the additional sum of $3,420.00.
