WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of 500 feet of
350,000 C.M. Wire for underground service to the City Hall Annex Build-
ing; and,
WHEREAS, Westinghouse Electric submitted a bid in the amount of
One Thousand And Eleven and 40/100 ($1,011.40) Dollars for the 500 feet
of 350,000 C.M. Wire for underground service to the City Hall Annex
Building; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Westinghouse Electric is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Westinghouse Electric in the amount of $1,011.40 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said 500 feet of 350,000 C.M.
Wire upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
