R E S 0 L U T I '0 N
WHEREAS, on June 25, 1974, the City Council received bids for
furnishing the necessary material, equipment, superintendence, and
labor for the construction of College Street, CIP Project No. 11 -ST -02;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted on the project by Greer Construction Company in the amount of
One Hundred Ninety -Four Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy -Six and No/100
($194,776.00) Dollars, is the lowest and best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid for the construction of College Street submitted by Greer
Construction Company in the amount of $194,776.00 is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with
Greer Construction Company in accordance with its bid, the cost of said
construction to be paid from Capital Improvements Program Bond Funds;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix
the Seal of the City thereto.
