WHEREAS, bids were received on July 2, 1974, for the backstop
fencing for the two new tennis courts for Sprott Park; and,
WHEREAS, Allied Supply submitted a bid in the amount of Five
Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty -Nine and 88/100 ($5,789.88) Dollars with
twenty-five (25) working days to complete the construction of the back-
stop fencing for the two new tennis courts for Sprott Park; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Allied Supply is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Allied Supply in the amount of $5,789.88 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby autho-
rized to,make payment for said backstop fencing for the two new tennis
courts for Sprott Park upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
