WHEREAS, bids were received June 18, 1974, for the furnishing of
Courtroom furniture for the Police and Municipal Court Facility, CIP
Project.#11-B-01; and,
WHEREAS, Garnett Church Furniture & Manufacturing Company sub-
mitted a'bid in the amount of Five Thousand Five Hundred Thirty -Nine and
No/100 ($5,539.00) Dollars for the Courtroom furniture for the Police and
Municipal Court Facility; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Garnett Church Furniture & Manufacturing Company is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Garnett Church Furniture G Manufacturing Company in the
amount of $5,539.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appro-
priate City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said Court-
room furniture upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
