WHEREAS bids were received for furnishing approximately 600 tons
of aluminum sulfate for the Water Production Division for the one (1)
year period of July 1, 1974 to June 30, 1975; and,
WHEREAS Allied Chemical Corporation -Industrial Chemical Division
bid a price of $90.40 per ton;.and,
WHEREAS said price of $90.40 per ton was the lowest and best bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Allied Chemical Corporation -Industrial Chemical Division
for furnishing approximately 600 tons of aluminum sulfate to the Water
Production Division for the one (1) year period of July 1, 1974 to June 30,
1975 at $90.40 per ton is hereby accepted and the appropriate official is
hereby authorized to pay for said aluminum sulfate upon appropriate de-
livery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this day of 1974.
