WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of two (2) new
chlorinators for service at the Water Utilities Production Division's
Loeb Well Pump Station; and,
WHEREAS, Fischer -Porter Company submitted.a bid in the amount
of Five Thousand Three Hundred Forty -Five and No/100 ($5,345.00) Dol-
lars for the two chlorinators; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Fischer -Porter Company is the lowest and best bid and should be accep-
ted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Fischer -Porter Company in the amount of $5,345.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said chlorinators upon acceptable
delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1974.
