R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received on June 25, 1974, for the furnishing
of ABS Sewer Pipe F Fittings for the Sewer Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, Armco Steel Corporation submitted a bid in the amount
of $0.95/L.F. - 61-, $1.52/L.F.- - 811, and $2.43/L.F. - 10", for the ABS
Sewer Pipe & Fittings for the Sewer Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Armco Steel Corporation is the lowest and best bid and should be accep-
ted;
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT':
THAT the bid of Armco Steel Corporation in the amount of $0.95/L.F. -
611, $1.52/L.F. - 8", and $2.43/L.F. - 10" for ABS'Sewer Pipe be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby autho-
rized to make payment for said ABS Sewer Pipe & Fittings upon acceptable
delivery and/or installation.
