WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of two con-
crete tennis courts for Sprott Park; and,
WHEREAS, Cajun Concrete Company submitted a bid in the amount
of Fourteen Thousand Four Hundred Fifty -Six and No/100 ($14,456.00)
for the construction of the two concrete tennis courts for Sprott
Park; and,
,WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Cajun Concrete Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Cajun Concrete Company in the amount of $14,456.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said construction of two con-
crete tennis courts for Sprott Park upon acceptable delivery and/or
installation.
