WHEREAS, an informal bid was received for frame and power
supply for Automatic Signal Controllers for the'Traffic and Transpor-
tation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Automatic Signal Company submitted 'a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty -Three and No/100
($1,983.00) Dollars for frame and power supply for Automatic Signal
Controllers for the Traffic and Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Automatic Signal Company is the only bid submitted and the
only equipment which can be used for the above-mentioned Automatic
Signal Controllers and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE.
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Automatic Signal Company'in the amount of $1,983.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said frame and power supply
for Automatic Signal Controllers for the Traffic and Transportation
Department upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
