WHEREAS, informal bids were received for repair equipment for
existing Automati.c Signal -Controllers for the Traffic and Transporta-
tion Department; and,
WHEREAS, Automatic Signal Company submitted a bid in the amount
of One Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty -Three and No/100 ($1,723.00) Dol-
lars for the existing Automatic Signal Controllers for the Traffic and
Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Automatic Signal Company was the only bid submitted and the
only equipment which can be used for the above-mentioned Automatic
Signal Controllers and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Automatic Signal Company in the amount of
$1,723.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont; and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said repair
equipment for the existing Automatic Signal Controllers for the
Traffic and Transportation Department upon acceptable delivery and/or
installation.
