WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
one (1) ten (10) ton 120,000 BTU air conditioning unit to replace
the unit at the YMBL Building at Fair Park; and,
WHEREAS, Lindy Dennis Air Conditioning Company submitted a
bid in the amount of One Thousand One Hundred Seventy -Six and No/100
($1,176.00) Dollars for the BTU air conditioning unit to replace the
unit at the YMBL Building at Fair Park; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Lindy Dennis,Air Conditioning Company is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Lindy Dennis Air Conditioning Company in the amount
Of $1,176.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said 120,000
BTU air conditioning unit upon acceptable delivery anal/or installation.
