WHEREAS, on the 5th day of October, 1971, The City of
Beaumont, Texas, did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson
County, Texas, one certain lien in the,amount of $22. 50, includ-
ing all costs of recording, covering Tract TWENTY (20), Plat "V'',
J. DRAKE SURVEY to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said
County in Volume 1405 at Page 430; and
WHEREAS, MITCHELL T. EVANS is the owner of said
property and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies
represented by said_li.en and have same released to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That KEN RITTER, Mayor, be, and he is hereby authorized
to execute and deliver to the said MITCHELL T. EVANS a release of
the above described lien, for and in consideration of the sum afore-
mentioned, receipt of which. is hereby acknowledged, and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of
the City of Beaumont thereto.
