WHEREAS, bids were received on April 30, 1974, for the clean-
ing and painting of the Loeb Well Pump Station; and,
WHEREAS, McCrea Water Tower Maintenance & Repair Company sub-
mitted a bid in the amount of Thirteen Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty
and N0/100 ($13,860-.00) Dollars for the cleaning and painting of the
Loeb Well Pump Station with sixty (60) working days to complete the
work, which was the lowest and best bid received, and the City Manager
recommended that the bid of McCrea Water Tower Maintenance & Repair
Company for cleaning and painting said pump station be accepted and
that a contract be entered into with said Company, and that the clean-
ing and painting of the pump station be done by McCrea Water Tower
Maintenance $ Repair Company;
'NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute.on
behalf of the City of Beaumont a contract with McCrea Water Tower Main-
tenance & Repair Company for the cleaning and painting of the Loeb Well
Pump Station; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said
contract and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
