R E S O' L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of dual flasher
emergency lights for police vehicles for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Distributor Police Supplies submitted a bid in
the amount of One Thousand Four Hundred Forty and No/100 ($1,440.00)
Dollars for the dual flasher emergency lights for police vehicles for
the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Texas Distributor Police Supplies is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Texas Distributor Police Supplies in the amount of
$1,440.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said dual flasher
emergency lights for police vehicles upon acceptable delivery and/or
installation.
