WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Greer Construction Company
executed a certain contract on April 10, 1973, for the paving of Cor-
ley Avenue and Ocean Street at a total contract price of $77,288.05;
and,
WHEREAS, the construction of this project has been completed
and the actual total cost is $79,562.45; and,
WHEREAS, the sum of $69,610.81 has previously been paid to
Greer Construction Company based on actual work performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and recom-
mends its acceptance and the final payment of $9,951.64 to the con-
tractor based on actual work performed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the afore-
said contract in all particulars and does further authorize the final
payment of $9,951.64 to the said contractor.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
