WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Sunlight Manor, a nonprofit
trust, executed a certain contract for the paving of a portion of
Eighth Street as set out in a contract for said construction awarded
October'9, 1973, to E. R. Dupuis Concrete Company in .the amount of
$31,267.00 based on estimated quantities;,and, -
WHEREAS, the sum of $19,986.75 has heretofore been paid to E.
R..Dupuis Concrete Company based on actual work performed; and,
WHEREAS, the actual cost of the construction on said project
was $31,772.50; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and along
with the Consulting Engineer, recommends its acceptance and the final
payment to E. R. Dupuis Concrete Company in the amount of $11,785.75,
and the payment of $3,177.25 as the City's portion of the payment to
the Consulting Engineer for said construction project.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the afore-
said contract in all particulars and does''further authorize the final
payment of $11,785.75 to E. R. Dupuis Concrete'Company, and the final
payment of $3,177.25 to F. E. Willcox, Consulting Engineer.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
