RE S O'L'UT I ON
WHEREAS, bids were received oll April 23, 1974, for the
furnishing of 2,000 feet of 2z" fire hose for the Fire Department
for replacement of the hose damaged in the MAGPETCO fire on Jan-
uary 11, 1974; and,
WHEREAS, Arthur Dooley F Son, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of Three Thousand and Sixty and No/100 ($3,060.00) Dollars
for the 2,000 feet of 22" fire hose for the Fire Department for
the replacement of the hose damaged in the MAGPETCO fire on Jan-
uary 11, 1974; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Arthur Dooley & Son, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.
THAT the bid of Arthur Dooley & Son, Inc. in the amount of $3,060.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropraite City Offi-
cial is hereby authorized to make payment for said 2,000 feet of
2z" fire hose upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
