WHEREAS, on April 2, 1974, the City Council authorized the
City Attorney and directed him to file Proceedings in Eminent Domain
against the following named persons (1) Bryant, Byram and Swain;
(2) R. D. Crowell; (3) B. F. Pye, Jr., Earl Watson Pye, and
Pert Pye Wilson; (4) James S. Wallace and Mary D. Wallace; said
Resolutions being numbered 82III, 83111, 84111 and 86III, respectively,
as per the files of the City Clerk of The City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney in each of said Resolutions, was
authorized and directed to acquire an easement for water and sewer lines;
and,
WHEREAS, the public necessity requires the placement, construction,
operation, repair, rebuilding, replacing, relocation, and removal of
sewer lines,only; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
that said Resolutions be, and the same are hereby, amended to authorize
and direct the City Attorney to acquire through Proceedings in Eminent
Domain an,easement for the purpose of placement, construction, operation,
repair, rebuilding, replacing, relocation and removal of sewer lines
only.
