BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE'CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Mayor and the Councilman from Ward 1, Councilman from Ward
2, Councilman from Ward 3, and Councilman from Ward 4 are hereby
authorized to execute on behalf.of the City of Beaumont an escrow
agreement with the Texas Highway Department whereby the City of
Beaumont is to place in escrow the sum of Four Hundred Fourteen
Thousand Eight Hundred and No/100 ($414,800.00) Dollars which rep-
resents the City's share in the construction of curbs and gutters,
driveways, storm sewers, and incidental items within the limits of
11th Street from south of College Street to south of Washington
Boulevard (S. llth Street Urban Project CIP No. 11 -ST -09). Appro-
priate City Officials are hereby authorized to draw a check in the
amount of $414,800.00 to be used in fulfilling the terms of the es-
crow agreement herein authorized.
