WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Work & Daniels Construction
Company entered into a contract whereby Work & Daniels Construction
Company was to furnish all labor, superintendence, material and equip-
ment to perform all work necessary to the construction of CIP Project
No. 11-B-02, which is the Central Library Building Project; and,
WHEREAS, a supplementary agreement to said.contract has been
proposed, under which said supplementary agreement,. Work $ Daniels
will furnish and install mechanical piping from the Library to the
City Hall Building, said piping to include two (2) chilled and two
(2) heated lines to allow for future expansion in that area, which
said supplementary agreement will be in the total additional sum of
Forty -One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 ($41,250.00) Dollars;
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Beaumont the above-described supplemental agree-
ment to the original contract and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont there-
to.
