WHEREAS, on March 263, 1974, the City Council received bids
for furnishing the necessary material, equipment, superintendence,
and labor for the construction of the Washington Boulevard Project,
CIP Project No. 11 -ST -03; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion.that the bid sub-
mitted.on the project by Trotti & Thomson in the amount of Seven Hun-
dred Twenty -Three Thousand Nine Hundred Fifteen and 50/100 ($723,915.50)
Dollars, is the lowest and best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid for the construction of the Washington Boulevard Project
submitted by Trotti & Thomson in the amount of $723,915.50 is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a
contract with Trotti & Thomson in accordance with its bid, the cost
of said construction to be paid from Capital Improvements Program
Bond Funds; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same
and to affix the Seal of the City thereto.
