R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the acquisition of right-of-way in the general
vicinity along Washington Boulevard is essential to the location,
construction, widening and maintenance of said Washington Boule-
vard and intersections thereon, and is considered to be in the
best interest of The City of Beaumont, NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
THAT the Legal Department be, and is hereby, directed to
commence negotiations with the property owners as may be necessary
for the acquisition of the right-of-way needed to the end that
property owners thereof shall receive the fair market value for
their property.
