WHEREAS, bids were received on March 19, 1974, for the furnish-
ing of uniforms for City Departments; and,
WHEREAS, Factory Sales Company Of Houston submitted a bid in
the amount of Forty -One Thousand Four Hundred Fifty -Two and No/100
($41,452.00) Dollars for the uniforms for City Departments; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Factory Sales Company of Houston is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Factory Sales Company of Houston in the amount of
$41,452.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said uniforms
upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
