WHEREAS, bids were received on March 12, 1974, for. the furnish-
ing of an Electro -Mechanical Filing Unit for the Water Commercial De-
partment; and,
WHEREAS, Acme Visible Records, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of Six Thousand Three Hundred Forty -Four and No/100 ($6,344.00)
Dollars for the Electro -Mechanical Filing Unit for the Water Commercial
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Acme. -Visible Records, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Acme Visible Records, Inc. in the amount of $63,344.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said Electro -Mechanical Filing
Unit upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
