WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of uniforms
for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Winston's submitted a bid in the amount of Ten Thou-
sand Eight Hundred Twenty -Five and No/100 ($10,825.00) Dollars for
the uniforms for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Winston's is the lowest and best bid and should be ac-
cepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Winston's in the amount of $10,825.00 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby
authorized to make payment for said uniforms upon acceptable delivery
and/or installation.
