R E S 0'L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received March 19, 1974, for the furnish-
ing of reinforced concrete pipe for the construction of Mariposa
Street from South Street to Cedar Street; and,
WHEREAS, Pyramid Concrete Pipe Company submitted a bid in
the amount of Twenty -Two Thousand and Fifty -Nine and 32/100
($22,059.00) Dollars for the reinforced concrete pipe for the con-
struction of Mariposa Street from South Street to Cedar Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Pyramid Concrete Pipe Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Pyramid Concrete Pipe Company in the amount of
$22,059.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make -payment for said reinforced
concrete pipe for the construction of Mariposa Street from South
Street to Cedar Street upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
