R E S O L U T 10 N
WHEREAS, The City of Beaumont has received proposals from
various firms for a master -plan study and major improvements for the
Beaumont Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the proposal
of Turner, Collie and Braden, Inc.., .for said master -plan study and
major improvement study for the Beaumont Municipal Airport, should be
accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to contract with Turner_,
Collie and Braden, Inc. for the master -plan and major improvement
study conditional upon preparation of a grant application for FAA
_funding of the study;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into two contracts
with Turner, Collie and Braden, Inc., for a master -plan study and a
major improvements study for the Beaumont Muriicipal Airport, said con-
tracts to be conditioned upon offer and acceptance of an FAA grant
_funding study for both the master plant and major improvements. The
City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contrac`s and the
appropriate City Officials are further advised to make payments as.
required by the contracts.
