WHEREAS, Exxon Corporation has requested a license 'to lay a
four inch (41') gas line under Montrose Avenue and Quinn Avenue and
a six inch (611) gas line under Pevitot Street, Amelia Avenue and
Washington Boulevard; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that this license
should be granted to Exxon Corporation in accordance with the City's
policy and procedure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a license a-
greement with Exxon Corporation for the installation of a four inch
(4") gas line under Montrose Avenue and Quinn Avenue and a six inch
(6") gas line under Pevitot Street, Amelia Avenue and Washington'
Boulevard; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said
license agreement.
