WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of one Cl)
16 MM Self -Contained Microfilm System, complete with accessories
for the Health Department; and,
WHEREAS, Eastman Kodak Company submitted a bid in the amount
of Forty Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty -One and 21/100 ($40)981.21)
Dollars for the 16 MM Self -Contained Microfilm System for the Health
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Eastman Kodak Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I,T RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Eastman Kodak Company in the amount of $40,981.21
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Offi-
cial is hereby authorized to make payment for said 16 MM Self -Con-
tained Microfilm System upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
