WHEREAS, informal bids were -received for the furnishing of
an Angle Stop with Lock Wing Mueller #H-,14265 and Straight Coupling
Mueller #H-15451 for the Water Distribution Department; and,
WHEREAS, Norvell Wilder Supply Company submitted a bid in
the amount of $1,136..00 less 20 fifteen days C$22,72) for a final
total bid of $1,113,28, for the Angle Stop with Lock Wing Mueller
#H-14265 and Straight Coupling Mueller #H,15451 for the Water Dis-
tribution Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Norvell Wilder Supply Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Norvell Wilder Supply Company in the amount of
$1,113,28 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said Angle
Stop with Lock Wing Mueller #H-14265 and Straight Coupling Mueller
#H-15451 for the Water Distribution Department, upon acceptable de-
livery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1974.
