WHEREAS, the City received informal bids for the furnishing
of Compression Coupling #H-15428 and #H-15451 for the Water Distri-
bution Department; and,
WHEREAS, Municipal Pipe and Fabrication Company submitted a
bid in the amount of $1,025.00 less 20 ten days ($20.50) for a final
total bid of $1,004.50 for the Compression Coupling #H-15428 and
#H-15451 for the Water Distribution Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Municipal Pipe and Fabrication Company is the lowest and
best bidand should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Municipal Pipe and Fabrication Company in the amount
of $1,004.50 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said Compres-
sion Coupling #H-15428 and #H-15451 upon acceptable delivery and/or
installation.
