WHEREAS, bids were received for the 'furnishing of a Five Sec-
tion Gang Mower for the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
. WHEREAS, Goldhwaite.'s of Houston, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Six Hundred Nineteen and No/100 C$1,619.00)
Dollars for the Five Section Gang Mower for the Parks and Recreation
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Goldhwaite's of Houston, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Goldhwaite's of Houston, Inc. in the amount of
$1,619.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said Five
Section Gang Mower upon acceptable delivery and/or_installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
