WHEREAS, bids were received on February 19, 1974 for the fur-
nishing of approximately 450 tons of Hydrated Lime for the Water
Production Department; and,
WHEREAS, Austin White Lime Company submitted the only bid in
the amount of $34.20 per ton of Hydrated Lime for the Water Produc-
tion Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Austin White Lime Company should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Austin White Lime Company in the amount of $34.20
per ton be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said Hydrated
Lime upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
