WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of one 5 to
8 -ton Tandem Roller for the.Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, R. B. Everett and Company submitted a bid in the
amount of Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Forty -Nine and 75/100
($13,249.75) Dollars for the 5 to 8 -ton Tandem Roller for the Street
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by R. B. Everett and Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of R. B. Evere.tt and Company in the amount of $13,249.75
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said 5 to 8 -ton Tandem Roller
upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
