WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of one Cl)
Crime Prevention Van for the Beaumont Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Tri -City Dodge submitted a bid in the amount of
Four Thousand Four Hundred Seventy -Three and 55/100 C$4,473.55) Dol-
lars for the Crime Prevention Van for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Tri -City Dodge is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Tri -City Dodge in the amount of $4,473.55 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby
authorized to make payment for said Crime Prevention Van upon accep-
table delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1974.
