WHEREAS, the City received bids on February 12, 1974, for
the furnishing of a Carry -All Van for the Beaumont Fire Department;
and,
WHEREAS, G.M.C. Dixie Trucks, Inc. submitted a bid for fur-
nishing said Carry -All Van for the Beaumont Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by G.M.C. Dixie Trucks, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of G.M.C. Dixie Trucks, Inc. in the amount of $4,497.26
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Offi-
cial is hereby authorized..,'s, to make payment for said Carry -All Van
upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
