WHEREAS, Texaco, Inc, has offered to sell the City of Beau-
mont diesel fuel for use by the bus line of the City of Beaumont;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept the offer by
Texaco, Inc. for said diesel fuel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the offer dated January
28, 1974, from Texaco, Inc. for the furnishing of Texaco 453 Diesel
Chief -L from the period January'l, 1974 to December. 31, 1974, at a
price of $.247 per gallon as provided in said offer, and the appro-
priate City Officials are hereby authorized to make payments for
said diesel fuel.
