HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 74 40F- '7 q,- �4 R E S- 0' 'L U T I O N WHEREAS, the developers of Woodland Estates Addition,,.Block 1, Lots 1 thru 15; Block 2, Lots 1 thru 15; Block 3, Lots 1 thru 43; Block 4, Lots 1 thru 13; Block 5, Lots 1 thru 4; Block 6, Lots 1 thru 8; and Block 7, Lots 1 thru 8, have completed the street, drain- age, water and sanitary sewer -improvements serving said addition; the improvements on Ada Avenue from 1/2 block north of Wildwood to a cul-de-sac south of Donna Lane; Haywood Drive from Concord Road to Ada Avenue; Harmony Lane from a cul-de-sac north of Donna Lane to a cul-de-sac south of Donna Lane; Wildwood Drive from Ada Avenue to a cul-de-sac south of Donna Lane and Donna Lane from Ada Avenue to 1/2 block east of Wildwood Drive consist of concrete pavement with 5.25 inches average thickness and the average of the compres- sive strength of these cores is 5723 pounds per square inch; and the developers of said addition are desirous of having these improve- ments accepted and maintained by the City;,,,_.and, WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends that said improvements qualify for acceptance for permanent maintenance; and the City Coun- cil is of the opinion that said improvements should be accepted and maintained by the City of Beaumont; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the street, drainage, water and sanitary sewer improvements serving Woodland Estates Addition, as above described, be, and the same are hereby, accepted by the City of Beaumont and shall be con- tinuously maintained by the said City.
