R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January.24, 1974, the City Council received -
bids for the construction of a Water Utilities Service Center, CIP
Project No. 11-WU.-01; and,
WHEREAS, the bid of H. B. Neild & Sons in the amount of
Seven Hundred and Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred and Forty and No/100
($713,540.00) Dollars with 250 calendar days to complete was the
lowest and best bid on said Water Utilities Service Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of H. B. Neild & Sons in the amount of $713,540.00
with 250 calendar days to complete on the Water Utilities Service
Center is hereby accepted;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and
he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with H. B. Neild &
Sons for the construction of said improvements, and the City Clerk
be, and she is hereby, authorized to attest to same and to affix
the seal of the City of Beaumont thereto; payment of same to be
from CIP Water Revenue Bond Funds,.
