WHEREAS, bids were received on January 27, 1974, for the
furnishing of one Cl) Tractor Backhoe Loader for the Fleet Mainte-
nance Department; 'and,
WHEREAS, Equipment Headquarters submitted a bid in the
amount of Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred'Ninety-Nine and no/100
($12,999.00) Dollars for the Tractor Backhoe Loader for the Fleet
Maintenance.Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Equipment Headquarters is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Equipment Headquarters in the amount of $12,999.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Offi-
cial is hereby authorized to make payment for said Tractor Backhoe
Loader upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
