WHEREAS, the City received bids on January 22, 1974, for
the furnishing of one (1) 7 1/2 Ton Air Conditioning and Heating
Unit for the Legal Department; and,
WHEREAS, Lindy Dennis Air Conditioning Company, Inc. sub-
mitted a bid of One Thousand Five Hundred Eighty -Eight and 37/100
($1,588.37) Dollars for said 7 1/2 Ton Air Conditioning and Heating
Unit for the Legal Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Lindy Dennis Air Conditioning Company, Inc. is the low-
est and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Lindy Dennis Air Conditioning Company, Inc. in the
amount of $1,588.37 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the
appropriate City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for
said 7 1/2 Ton Air Conditioning and Heating Unit for the Legal De-
partment upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
