RE S0 LUT'I ON
WHEREAS, the City received bids on January 22, 1974, for
Polyethylene Pipe & Equipment Rental for the Sewer Maintenance Depart-
ment; and,
WHEREAS, Nipak, Inc. submitted a bid of Forty -Eight Thousand
and Eighty -Six and 70/100 ($48,086.70) Dollars for said Polyethylene
Pipe & Equipment Rental for the Sewer Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS,the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Nipak, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should be accep-
ted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Nipak, Inc. in the amount of $48,086.70 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby
authorized to make payment for said Polyethylene Pipe & Equipment
Rental upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1974.
