WHEREAS, the City received bids on January 8, 1974, for
purchasing eighteen (18) automobiles for the Fleet Maintenance
Department for use in Police service; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Motor Company submitted a bid for fur-
nishing said eighteen ('18) automobiles for the Fleet Maintenance
Department for use in Police service; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Beaumont Motor Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid.of Beaumont Motor Company in the amount of Sixty -
Six Thousand Three Hundred Eighty -Seven and 96/100 ($66,387.96)
Dollars, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
